Add a subtle British identity to your kit with this Army Green Mini UK Flag Patch. Finished in classic military green tones with a subdued Union Jack design, this compact embroidered badge is ideal for tactical setups, outdoor clothing, or understated everyday wear.
Carefully stitched for durability and designed to blend naturally with olive or earth-tone fabrics, this MOD-style patch offers a professional, low-visibility appearance while still clearly representing the UK.
Perfect for customising jackets, softshells, hoodies, gilets, cargo trousers, or combat-style clothing, it also works extremely well on rucksacks, hydration packs, tool bags, range bags, camera backpacks, or camping gear. Many users attach it to airsoft or paintball equipment, motorbike jackets, dog harnesses, EDC organisers, work aprons, or kit bags. It’s also popular for DIY upgrades on denim, handmade projects, tactical organisers, or custom gifts.
The patch features a heat-activated adhesive backing for iron-on use and can also be sewn on for maximum strength, allowing you to choose between quick application or permanent attachment.

🔥 How to Iron On (Step-by-Step)
For best results, always apply to cotton, denim, canvas, or similar sturdy fabrics.
-
Start by pre-heating your iron to medium heat (cotton setting) and turn steam OFF.
-
Lay your garment flat on a hard, heat-resistant surface (ironing board or table).
-
Position the patch exactly where you want it, with the shiny adhesive side facing down onto the fabric.
-
Place a thin cloth, tea towel, or baking paper over the patch to protect the embroidery.
-
Press the iron firmly onto the patch for 12–15 seconds, applying steady pressure without sliding the iron.
-
Turn the garment inside out and press directly behind the patch for another 10–12 seconds to fully activate the adhesive.
-
Allow the patch to cool completely for at least 2 minutes before moving or wearing.
Important: Do not wash for 24 hours after application. For items that bend or flex (bags, sleeves, shoulders), sewing around the edge after ironing is strongly recommended for long-term hold.
Not suitable for nylon, waterproof, or heat-sensitive fabrics unless sewn.
🧵 How to Sew On (Maximum Durability Method)
-
Place the patch in position and secure with pins or temporary fabric glue.
-
Thread a needle with strong polyester or cotton thread (green, black, or matching colour works best).
-
Starting from the inside of the garment, bring the needle up through the edge of the patch.
-
Stitch neatly around the border using small straight stitches or a zig-zag stitch, keeping spacing even.
-
Work your way around the entire patch until fully secured.
-
Finish on the inside of the fabric and tie a tight double knot. Trim excess thread.
Sewing provides the strongest attachment and is ideal for backpacks, tactical clothing, outdoor gear, denim, or any item that will be washed regularly or used in demanding conditions.
