Roaring Bear Head Embroidered Patch – Iron or Sew On Animal Badge

Size: 8.1cm (Width) × 8.2cm (Height)

Make a bold statement with this powerful Bear Head embroidered patch, featuring a fierce roaring bear design with open jaws, detailed teeth, and rich layered stitching throughout the fur. The warm brown tones, deep black edging, and striking red mouth accents give this patch serious presence, making it perfect for anyone who likes strong, wild, rugged style.

The embroidery is dense and textured, creating depth across the face and mane while keeping crisp definition in the eyes, nose, and teeth. The heavy black border frames the design cleanly and helps the patch stand out on both light and dark fabrics.

Sized to work as a centrepiece or standout accent, this patch looks great on denim jackets, biker vests, hoodies, backpacks, hats, or canvas bags. It’s ideal for custom streetwear, outdoor-inspired fashion, or adding character to old clothing. Whether you’re repairing worn fabric or building a custom look, this bear patch brings instant attitude.

The patch includes heat-activated adhesive for iron-on use, and can also be stitched for extra security on items that see regular wear.

Popular placements include jackets, jeans, rucksacks, caps, tool bags, guitar cases, festival clothing, or handmade projects.

Product Details

High-quality embroidered roaring bear head patch with layered stitching and bold colour contrast. Finished with a clean black edge and iron-on backing. Can also be sewn on. Final size measures approximately 8.1cm wide by 8.2cm high.

Iron-On Instructions (Best for Cotton, Denim & Canvas)

Before You Start

• Wash and dry the garment if possible to remove any finishes that could affect adhesion.
• Set your iron to medium heat (cotton setting). Make sure steam is OFF.
• Lay your clothing flat on a firm surface and smooth out any creases.

Applying the Patch

  1. Place the patch exactly where you want it, glue side facing down onto the fabric.

  2. Cover the patch with a thin cotton cloth, tea towel, or baking paper to protect the embroidery threads.

  3. Press the iron straight down firmly for around 25 seconds. Do not move the iron side to side.

  4. Lift the iron and repeat for another 10–15 seconds, making sure heat reaches the edges.

  5. Turn the garment inside out and press directly behind the patch for about 20 seconds to fully activate the adhesive.

  6. Allow the fabric to cool completely before handling.

After Ironing

• Avoid washing for at least 24–48 hours.
• When washing, turn garments inside out and use a gentle cycle.
• Air drying is recommended to preserve the embroidery.

Iron-on works well for lighter garments, but sewing is strongly recommended for jackets, bags, or heavy-use items.

Not suitable for leather, nylon, waterproof fabrics, or heat-sensitive materials unless sewn.

Sewing Instructions (Ideal for Long-Term Hold)

Perfect for backpacks, outerwear, hats, or anything that will be washed often.

You’ll Need

• Needle
• Strong thread (black or brown blends well)
• Pins or fabric clips
• Scissors

How to Sew

  1. Position the patch and secure it in place with pins or clips.

  2. Thread your needle and tie a knot at the end.

  3. Start stitching from inside the garment so the knot stays hidden.

  4. Use small, neat stitches around the outer edge of the patch, following the shape closely.

  5. Keep your stitches evenly spaced and gently snug without pulling the fabric tight.

  6. Once you’ve gone all the way around, finish on the inside with a firm double knot and trim excess thread.

This method keeps the patch flat, secure, and ready for everyday wear.
