Pair of Peach Beige Flower Patches – Iron On or Sew On Embroidered Floral Patches
Add an elegant floral detail to clothing, accessories and craft projects with this beautiful Pair of Peach Beige Flower Patches. Featuring a detailed arrangement of embroidered roses, smaller flowers, leaves and flowing stems, these decorative appliqués combine soft peach and beige tones with subtle gold-coloured detailing for a warm and sophisticated finish.
Each patch is centred around a large embroidered flower with layered petals, accompanied by a smaller rose, a cluster of delicate flowers and decorative leaves. Fine embroidery throughout the design gives the flowers plenty of texture, while the gold-coloured outlines provide an attractive contrast against the softer neutral shades.
The patches form a coordinating mirrored pair, making them particularly suitable for decorating both sides of a garment. Position them opposite one another for a balanced symmetrical look, or use each patch separately on different clothing and craft projects.
Size
You will receive 2 Peach Beige Flower Patches.
Each individual patch measures approximately:
7.7 cm Width × 11.9 cm Height
Their generous size means the patches can become a prominent decorative feature while still being versatile enough for many different garments and accessories.
Elegant Peach & Beige Floral Design
The combination of warm peach, beige and champagne-like tones gives these patches a softer appearance than brightly coloured floral designs. This makes them particularly suitable for clothing where you want to add embroidery without introducing an overly bold colour.
The floral arrangement incorporates several different elements, including a large statement flower, smaller blossoms, leaves, stems and attractive curled detailing. The contrasting embroidery helps define the individual petals and leaves and gives the design additional depth.
Because the two patches mirror one another, there are many ways to arrange them. They can look particularly attractive positioned on either side of a dress, T-shirt, blouse, shirt or jacket, around a neckline, alongside pockets or symmetrically across the front or back of a garment.
Perfect for Clothing, Bags & Craft Projects
These versatile flower patches can be used to customise a wide range of items, including dresses, T-shirts, shirts, blouses, skirts, jackets, jeans, denim clothing, tops, costumes, handbags, fabric bags, backpacks and other accessories.
They are also ideal for sewing, dressmaking, textile crafts and upcycling projects.
If you have an older garment that looks a little plain or tired, adding embroidered flowers can give it an entirely different appearance. Where appropriate, the patches may also be positioned over small marks or worn areas to provide an attractive decorative covering.
Use both patches together to create a coordinated design or use them individually for two completely different projects.
How to Iron On
Before ironing the patches onto a garment, always check the garment's care instructions and make sure the material can safely withstand the heat required.
Some delicate, waterproof, coated, elasticated or heat-sensitive materials may not be suitable for iron-on application. For these fabrics, we recommend using the sew-on method instead.
Iron-On Instructions
- Make sure the garment or fabric is clean and completely dry before you begin.
- Place the garment on a firm, flat and heat-resistant surface.
- Position the patch carefully in your chosen location. Take a moment to make sure it is straight and exactly where you want it before applying heat.
- Set your iron to a medium to high temperature suitable for the garment. Make sure the steam function is switched off.
- Place a thin cotton cloth, pressing cloth or clean tea towel over the entire patch. This protects the embroidered surface from direct contact with the hot iron.
- Press the iron firmly onto the covered patch for approximately 20–30 seconds, applying steady downward pressure. Avoid repeatedly sliding the iron backwards and forwards across the embroidery.
- Where possible, turn the garment inside out and apply heat to the reverse side of the patch for another 20–30 seconds.
- Leave the garment flat and allow the patch and fabric to cool completely before handling.
- Once cool, carefully check around the edges to make sure the patch has bonded securely.
- If any section has not completely attached, replace the protective cloth and carefully apply heat again for a short period.
Iron temperatures and fabrics vary, so the exact amount of heat and application time required can differ. Always take care not to overheat the embroidery or garment.
For clothing that will be washed regularly or receive frequent wear, we recommend adding a few small stitches around the patch after ironing for extra security.
How to Sew On
The patches can also be attached by sewing. This is an excellent choice for garments that cannot safely withstand ironing and can provide a particularly strong and secure attachment.
You can hand sew or machine sew the patches depending on the garment, your equipment and your preferred finish.
Hand Sewing Instructions
- Position the patch exactly where you would like it on the garment.
- Temporarily hold it in place using pins, fabric clips or a few loose temporary stitches.
- Choose a sewing thread that coordinates with the peach or beige embroidered border, or use a thread that matches the garment underneath.
- Thread your needle and secure the end of the thread with a knot.
- Begin sewing from the reverse side of the garment so the starting knot remains hidden.
- Make small, neat stitches around the outer embroidered edge of the patch.
- Continue carefully around the flowers, leaves, stems and curved areas of the design.
- Pay particular attention to the narrower sections and individual leaves so that the complete patch sits securely against the fabric.
- Once you have sewn around the patch, finish on the reverse side of the garment and secure the thread with a firm knot.
- Remove any pins, clips or temporary holding stitches.
If using a sewing machine, work slowly around the curved and detailed areas for the neatest possible finish.
Create a Coordinated Mirrored Design
These patches are especially effective when used together. Their mirrored arrangement makes it easy to create a professional-looking symmetrical design without needing to position two identical patches in the same direction.
Try placing one patch on each side of a neckline, down opposite sides of a dress, on either side of a T-shirt or blouse, or across the front of a jacket. Alternatively, experiment with different positions to create your own individual design.
The softer peach and beige colour palette works beautifully on both light and dark fabrics, while the subtle gold-coloured accents help highlight the intricate floral embroidery.
Whether you are interested in clothing customisation, dressmaking, sewing, upcycling, repairs or general crafts, this pair of embroidered flower patches provides a simple way to transform an everyday fabric item into something much more distinctive.
