Pair of Pink Flower Patches – Iron On or Sew On Embroidered Floral Appliqués
Bring a bright, decorative floral touch to clothing, bags and craft projects with this beautiful Pair of Pink Flower Patches. Designed as a coordinating mirrored pair, these detailed embroidered appliqués feature large blooming flowers, smaller buds, pointed leaves and graceful curved stems, all brought to life with rich shades of pink and contrasting gold-coloured embroidered detailing.
The combination of vivid pink tones and metallic-style gold accents creates an eye-catching design that can transform an otherwise plain garment or accessory. Whether you are customising a denim jacket, refreshing a favourite pair of jeans, decorating a bag or creating your own textile project, these floral patches offer plenty of creative possibilities.
Each individual patch measures approximately 6.9 cm Width × 11.8 cm Height.
Detailed Pink & Gold Floral Embroidery
Each patch is formed from an elaborate arrangement of flowers and foliage. A large open flower creates the main focal point, accompanied by a smaller flower bud towards the top and layers of pointed leaves around the sides.
The design uses different shades of pink, ranging from brighter pink areas to deeper pink and purple-pink edging. This tonal variation helps define the individual petals and leaves rather than allowing the entire design to appear as one flat colour.
Fine gold-coloured embroidery runs through the flowers and foliage, highlighting the centre of the main bloom, the smaller bud and the veins of the leaves. The gold details provide an attractive contrast against the pink background and help emphasise the intricate embroidered pattern.
Different stitch directions and textures add further definition, giving the design a decorative, dimensional appearance.
Supplied as a Mirrored Pair
You will receive two coordinating opposite-facing patches. One curves towards the left and the other towards the right, making them especially useful for creating balanced and symmetrical designs.
Position them on opposite sides of a jacket opening, either side of a neckline, on two trouser legs or around a central design on a bag.
The pair can also be placed closer together to create the appearance of one larger floral arrangement.
Alternatively, there is no need to use them on the same item. Use one patch on a garment and save the second for a matching accessory, or decorate two different pieces with coordinating flowers.
Perfect for Customising Clothes
These pink flower patches are a simple way to give clothing a more individual appearance.
Try them on suitable denim jackets, jeans, trousers, skirts, dresses, shirts, tops, sweatshirts and other fabric garments.
On a jacket, the mirrored pair can be positioned vertically on either side of the front opening or placed across the shoulders or back.
For jeans and trousers, their elongated shape makes them particularly suitable for placement down the leg, beside a pocket or towards the lower leg.
On dresses and skirts, the patches can be positioned near the hem with the flowers extending upwards, creating the effect of decorative floral embroidery growing across the fabric.
Add Colour to Bags & Accessories
Give a plain fabric bag a completely new appearance by adding these decorative floral appliqués.
They can be used on suitable tote bags, canvas shoppers, backpacks, fabric handbags, craft bags and other textile accessories.
Place the two flowers on opposite sides for a symmetrical look, arrange them around initials or lettering, or combine them with other embroidered patches to build your own larger decorative design.
The vibrant pink colouring makes the patches particularly effective against contrasting materials such as black, dark blue and traditional denim, while they can create a softer coordinated look against cream, white and pastel fabrics.
Ideal for Crafts, Sewing & Upcycling
These embroidered flower patches are also excellent for creative craft and upcycling projects.
Rather than discarding an older garment that has become plain or tired-looking, use decorative appliqués to give it a fresh appearance. Depending on the position and size of the area, a patch can also be useful for decorating over certain small marks, worn areas or unwanted designs.
Combine the flowers with butterflies, birds, hearts, stars, lettering or other botanical patches to create a completely personalised arrangement.
They can be incorporated into sewing projects, handmade clothing, costumes, textile artwork and other fabric crafts.
How to Iron On
Before ironing, always check the garment or item's care label. The material must be suitable for ironing and able to withstand the required heat.
For delicate, waterproof, coated, elasticated or heat-sensitive materials, sewing the patches on is generally the safer option.
1. Prepare the fabric: Make sure the garment or accessory is clean, dry and lying flat on a firm, heat-resistant surface.
2. Arrange the patches: Position the flowers exactly where you want them. If using them as a mirrored pair, check the spacing, height and angle before applying heat.
3. Set the iron: Heat your iron to an appropriate medium-to-high setting for the fabric. Do not use steam.
4. Cover the patch: Place a thin cotton cloth, pressing cloth or clean tea towel over the embroidery. This protects the decorative threads from direct contact with the iron.
5. Press firmly: Place the iron over the covered patch and apply firm, even pressure for approximately 20–30 seconds. Avoid continually sliding the iron around.
6. Iron from behind: Where possible, turn the garment inside out and apply heat to the reverse of the patch area for another 20–30 seconds.
7. Leave to cool: Allow the patch and fabric to cool completely before touching or testing the edges.
8. Check the bond: Gently inspect the outer edges. If any section has not adhered securely, cover the patch again and repeat the heating process.
Iron temperatures and fabrics vary, so these timings should be treated as a general guide. Always follow the care instructions for the garment being decorated.
How to Sew On
These patches can also be sewn onto your chosen fabric, either instead of ironing or after ironing for additional security.
Position the patch and temporarily hold it in place using pins or suitable fabric clips.
Choose a thread colour that blends with the darker pink embroidered border and make small stitches around the outside of the patch. Follow the shape of the petals, leaves and curved lower sections so that all areas sit neatly against the material.
For heavier fabrics such as denim and canvas, use a suitable stronger needle and thread.
Combine Ironing & Sewing for Extra Security
For suitable materials, you can use both methods.
First iron the patch into position and allow it to cool completely. Once attached, add several small stitches around the outside edge, particularly around the pointed leaves and narrower sections.
This is a useful option for frequently worn or handled items such as jackets, jeans, trousers, backpacks and bags.
Creative Ideas for Your Pink Flower Patches
There are many ways to use the mirrored design.
Place one patch on either side of the chest of a denim jacket for a balanced floral look. Position the pair around the neckline of a dress, shirt or blouse to create decorative embroidered detailing.
Add one to each leg of a pair of jeans, or place both together down one leg to create a larger statement design.
Decorate a tote bag by positioning the flowers on either side of a name, initials or slogan.
Use one on the front of a jacket and the second on a coordinating handbag or backpack.
For a larger project, mix the pink flowers with other floral colours to create a colourful embroidered garden effect across the back of a jacket, skirt or bag.
