Pair of Pink Flower Patches – Iron On or Sew On Embroidered Floral Appliqués

Add a soft and elegant floral detail to clothing and accessories with this beautiful Pair of Pink Flower Patches. Designed in delicate blush and dusty pink tones with gold-coloured flower centres, these embroidered appliqués are perfect for giving dresses, skirts, trousers and other garments a decorative new look.

Each patch features a flowing arrangement of flowers in different sizes, from the large open bloom at the bottom to smaller blossoms rising towards the top. Curving embroidered stems and leaves connect the flowers together, creating an attractive botanical design with plenty of texture and detail.

Size

You will receive 2 matching Pink Flower Patches.

Each individual patch measures approximately:

5 cm Width × 11.8 cm Height

Their elongated shape makes them particularly suitable for positioning vertically on clothing, along pockets, near hems or as a matching pair on either side of a garment.

Soft Pink Floral Design

These patches have a more subtle, understated appearance than a bright pink floral appliqué. The embroidery combines pale blush pink flowers with slightly deeper dusty rose-pink stems, leaves and edging, giving the design gentle variation while keeping the overall colour coordinated.

Warm gold-coloured embroidered centres provide a beautiful contrast and draw attention to the individual flowers.

The petals contain fine stitched detailing that radiates outwards from the centres, creating extra texture and giving the flowers a layered embroidered appearance.

A Coordinating Pair

The patches are designed as opposite-facing floral arrangements, allowing them to be positioned together to create an attractive symmetrical effect.

They could look particularly effective placed:

  • On either side of a dress
  • Near the pockets of trousers
  • On the front or sides of a skirt
  • Along the legs of jeans or trousers
  • On either side of a jacket
  • Around the neckline or lower section of suitable garments
  • On opposite sides of a tote bag or fabric accessory

Alternatively, use each patch individually on separate projects.

Refresh Dresses, Skirts & Trousers

These floral appliqués offer a simple way to personalise clothing without changing the entire garment. A plain dress can be given a pretty embroidered feature, while a skirt or pair of trousers can be transformed with carefully positioned floral detailing.

They are also ideal for upcycling older clothing, customising handmade garments or adding your own finishing touch to sewing and craft projects.

The muted pink colouring coordinates particularly well with cream, white, beige, grey, black, denim, brown and other neutral shades.

Iron-On Application

Always check the care label of your garment before applying heat. Some delicate, waterproof, coated or heat-sensitive fabrics may not be suitable for iron-on application and should be sewn instead.

  1. Place the garment on a firm, flat and heat-resistant surface.
  2. Ensure the fabric is clean, dry and free from creases.
  3. Position the patch in the desired location. When using both patches together, arrange them first so you can check the spacing and alignment.
  4. Set your iron to a suitable medium-to-high heat setting for the fabric. Do not use steam.
  5. Cover the patch with a thin cotton cloth, pressing cloth or clean tea towel. This helps protect both the embroidery and the garment.
  6. Press the iron firmly over the covered patch for approximately 20–30 seconds. Avoid repeatedly sliding the iron over the embroidery.
  7. If the garment allows, turn it inside out and press the reverse side of the patch for approximately another 20–30 seconds.
  8. Leave the patch completely undisturbed until it has cooled fully.
  9. Once cool, gently check around the edges. If any section has not bonded properly, cover it again and apply additional heat for a short period.

Iron temperatures and fabrics vary, so the above should be used as a general application guide.

For garments that will be worn and washed regularly, adding a few securing stitches around the patch can help provide a more permanent attachment.

Sew-On Application

These patches can also be sewn onto your chosen garment, either instead of ironing or after ironing for additional security.

Position the patch where required and hold it temporarily in place with pins or fabric clips. Using a coordinating thread, sew small stitches around the embroidered outer edge.

Follow the curves of the leaves, stems and flowers as closely as possible. Pay particular attention to the smaller projecting sections of the design so that they remain neatly secured against the fabric.

Once you have stitched around the patch, tie off the thread securely on the reverse of the garment.

For thicker materials such as denim or heavyweight trousers, using a stronger sewing or denim needle may make application easier.

Ideal For

These pink embroidered flower patches are suitable for decorating many fabric items, including dresses, skirts, trousers, jeans, jackets, shirts, tops, fabric bags, tote bags, backpacks and handmade clothing.

Whether used as a matching pair or individually, their combination of soft pink embroidery and warm gold-coloured detailing creates an elegant floral feature that can give plain clothing a completely different appearance.
