Pair of Pink Flower Patches – Iron On or Sew On Embroidered Floral Patches

Add a beautiful floral flourish to clothing, accessories and craft projects with this Pair of Pink Flower Patches. Featuring an intricate arrangement of embroidered flowers, leaves and flowing stems, these decorative appliqués combine soft pink and pale blush tones with delicate gold-coloured detailing for an elegant and feminine finish.

Each patch features a large statement flower surrounded by a smaller embroidered rose, a cluster of delicate blossoms, leaves and decorative curling stems. The combination of different embroidery textures and shades of pink helps define the individual petals and leaves, while fine gold-coloured thread highlights parts of the floral design.

The two patches form a coordinating mirrored pair, making them particularly attractive when positioned opposite one another. They are ideal for decorating dresses, T-shirts, skirts, shirts and jackets, but can also be used separately for bags, accessories, sewing projects and many other creative ideas.

Size

You will receive 2 Pink Flower Patches.

Each individual patch measures approximately:

7.7 cm Width × 11.9 cm Height

Their generous size makes these patches large enough to create a noticeable decorative feature without overwhelming the garment.

Detailed Pink Floral Embroidery

The design incorporates a variety of floral elements rather than a single simple flower. A large layered bloom forms the centrepiece of each patch, accompanied by smaller flowers, embroidered leaves and sweeping stems.

The different shades of pink create a soft tonal effect, while the subtle gold-coloured outlines and flower centres add extra definition and contrast.

Because the patches mirror one another, they are particularly useful for creating balanced designs. Position one on each side of a neckline, across the front of a dress, either side of a T-shirt, on opposite sides of a skirt or symmetrically on a jacket.

Alternatively, use one patch as a standalone floral decoration and save the second for another project.

Ideal for Clothing Customisation & Upcycling

These embroidered patches can be used to personalise many different fabric items, including dresses, T-shirts, skirts, shirts, blouses, jackets, jeans, denim clothing, tops, costumes, bags, handbags, backpacks and fabric accessories.

They are also ideal for dressmaking, sewing, upcycling and textile craft projects.

Adding an embroidered patch is a simple way to transform a plain garment or give an older piece of clothing a completely different appearance. Where suitable, the patches may also be positioned over small marks or worn areas to combine decorative embellishment with a practical repair.

How to Iron On

Before applying the patches using an iron, always check the garment's care instructions and make sure the material is suitable for heat application.

Delicate, waterproof, coated, highly elasticated or heat-sensitive fabrics may not be suitable for ironing. If you are unsure, it is safer to sew the patches on instead.

Iron-On Instructions

  1. Make sure your garment or fabric is clean and completely dry.
  2. Place the garment on a firm, flat and heat-resistant surface.
  3. Position the Pink Flower Patch in your chosen location. If using both patches together, take a moment to check that they are evenly positioned before beginning.
  4. Set your iron to a medium to high temperature suitable for the fabric and switch the steam function off.
  5. Place a thin cotton cloth, pressing cloth or clean tea towel over the patch. The protective cloth prevents the hot iron from coming directly into contact with the embroidered threads.
  6. Press the iron firmly onto the covered patch for approximately 20–30 seconds, applying steady downward pressure rather than continuously moving the iron backwards and forwards.
  7. Where possible, turn the garment inside out and press the reverse side of the patch for approximately another 20–30 seconds.
  8. Leave the garment flat and allow the patch and fabric to cool completely.
  9. Once cool, carefully check around the edges to make sure the entire patch has bonded securely.
  10. If any area has not completely attached, replace the protective cloth and carefully apply heat again for a short period.

Iron temperatures and fabrics can vary considerably, so application times may need to be adjusted. Avoid using excessive heat, as this could damage the embroidery or the garment.

For items that will be washed frequently or subjected to regular wear, we recommend adding a few stitches around the edges after ironing for additional security.

How to Sew On

The patches can also be sewn directly onto your garment. Sewing is particularly useful for materials that cannot safely withstand the heat of an iron and can provide a very secure attachment.

The patches can be hand sewn or machine sewn, depending on your preference and the type of garment.

Hand Sewing Instructions

  1. Place the patch in your chosen position and make sure you are happy with the placement.
  2. Temporarily secure the patch using pins, fabric clips or a few loose holding stitches.
  3. Choose a thread that coordinates with the pink embroidered edging or matches the fabric underneath.
  4. Thread your needle and tie a secure knot at the end.
  5. Begin from the reverse side of the garment so that the starting knot is hidden.
  6. Make small, neat stitches around the embroidered outer edge of the patch.
  7. Carefully follow the shape of the flowers, leaves and stems, making sure that the narrower areas of the design are also securely attached.
  8. Continue until you have worked around the complete patch.
  9. Finish on the reverse side of the garment and secure your thread with a firm knot.
  10. Remove any temporary pins, clips or holding stitches.

If using a sewing machine, work slowly around the detailed curves and smaller sections to achieve a neat finish.

Create a Beautiful Mirrored Design

One of the advantages of this pair is the mirrored floral arrangement. Instead of receiving two patches facing in exactly the same direction, the pair can be positioned so that the floral designs complement one another.

Try placing them on either side of a neckline, across the chest of a top, down the front of a dress, on opposite sides of a skirt or around the pockets of a jacket.

The soft pink colouring also works well against a wide range of fabrics. It can create a subtle tonal look on lighter materials or provide a more noticeable contrast when placed against darker clothing.

Perfect for Sewing, Dressmaking & Crafts

Whether you are refreshing an existing garment or working on something completely new, these embroidered flowers provide an easy way to introduce detailed decoration without having to create the embroidery yourself.

Use them for clothing customisation, sewing, dressmaking, upcycling, repairs, costumes, bag decoration or general craft projects.

With their soft pink colour palette, intricate floral embroidery and delicate gold-coloured accents, these Pink Flower Patches can turn an everyday fabric item into something much more distinctive.
