Plaster Patch Iron / Sew On Embroidered Badge
Size: 7.4 cm Height x 7.3 cm Width
Add a fun and creative twist to your clothing repairs with this embroidered plaster (bandage) patch. Designed in the classic crossed-plaster shape, this badge is perfect for covering small holes, tears, or worn areas on jeans, jackets, coats, jumpers, and bags — while turning damage into a statement detail.
🩹 Design & Colours
This patch features a stitched plaster design with clean detailing and a soft textured finish.
Colours visible:
-
Light beige / nude base colour
-
Slightly darker beige stitched border
-
Pale white / light grey circular “pad” details in the centre
-
Matching beige embroidered edge
The neutral tones make it easy to pair with denim, black, navy, white, brown, or earth-toned fabrics.
🔥 Iron-On Instructions (Heat Activated Backing)
Best suited for cotton, denim, canvas, and polyester blends.
Not recommended for waterproof, leather, nylon, or delicate fabrics.
Step-by-step application:
-
Set iron to Cotton setting (180–200°C) with steam turned OFF.
-
Lay garment flat on a firm, heat-safe surface.
-
Pre-press the area for 5–10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
-
Position the patch adhesive side down exactly where required.
-
Cover with a thin cotton cloth or baking paper.
-
Press firmly for 15–20 seconds, applying steady pressure (do not slide the iron).
-
Lift and reposition to ensure all edges are heated evenly.
-
Turn garment inside out and press from the reverse side for another 10–15 seconds.
-
Allow to cool completely before checking adhesion.
If edges lift, repeat the pressing process. For heavy-wear items like bags or frequently washed clothing, stitching around the border is recommended for extra security.
🧵 Sew-On Instructions (For Maximum Durability)
Ideal for thick denim, workwear, or high-stress areas like knees and elbows.
-
Position the patch over the damaged area and secure with pins.
-
Use thread that matches the beige border for a clean finish.
-
Begin from inside the garment to hide your knot.
-
Sew closely around the embroidered edge using a small whip stitch or tight running stitch.
-
Keep stitches evenly spaced and firm.
-
Tie off securely inside and trim excess thread.
Sewing ensures long-term durability, especially for children's clothing or frequently washed items.
