Classic Sandwich Embroidered Patch – Iron or Sew On Food Badge

Size: 7.2cm (Width) × 4.2cm (Height)

Add a playful, comfort-food twist to your wardrobe with this fun Sandwich Embroidered Patch, featuring a layered toasted sandwich design packed with colourful fillings. From the golden stitched bread to the bright lettuce greens, rich reds, and creamy inner layers, every detail is carefully embroidered to give this tiny snack a surprisingly realistic look.

The stitching is thick and textured, giving the sandwich depth and dimension while keeping clean edges and bold colour separation. Finished with a tidy embroidered border, this patch feels soft to the touch yet sturdy enough for everyday wear.

Perfect for food lovers, café workers, creative makers, or anyone who enjoys quirky fashion details, this sandwich patch brings instant personality to plain clothing and accessories. It works beautifully as a small accent on jackets or bags, or as part of a larger custom patch layout.

Great for refreshing tired denim, decorating lunch bags, customising aprons, jazzing up pencil cases, or creating fun gifts for friends who love food-themed designs. It’s also ideal for kids’ backpacks, handmade craft projects, festival outfits, or playful streetwear.

Whether you’re repairing a small hole, covering a stain, or simply adding something unexpected to your outfit, this patch delivers charm with a side of humour.

The back features heat-activated adhesive for easy iron-on application, and it can also be sewn for long-lasting security.

Iron-On Instructions (For Cotton, Denim, Canvas & Similar Fabrics)

Preparation

• Wash and fully dry your garment if possible to remove fabric treatments.
• Set your iron to medium heat (cotton setting). Make sure steam is turned OFF.
• Place your clothing on a hard, heat-safe surface such as an ironing board or folded towel.
• Smooth the fabric flat so the patch sits evenly.

Applying the Patch

  1. Position the patch exactly where you want it, with the shiny adhesive side against the fabric.

  2. Place a thin cotton cloth, pillowcase, or baking paper over the patch to protect the embroidery.

  3. Press the iron straight down firmly for about 20–25 seconds. Avoid sliding the iron.

  4. Lift the iron, rotate slightly, and repeat pressure for another 10–15 seconds to ensure heat reaches every part of the patch.

  5. Turn the garment inside out and press directly behind the patch for 15–20 seconds to fully bond the adhesive.

  6. Leave the item flat and untouched until completely cool.

Aftercare

• Wait at least 24–48 hours before washing.
• Wash inside out on a gentle cycle.
• Air drying is recommended to preserve both glue and embroidery.

For bags, jackets, or items that flex often, sewing around the edges is strongly advised even after ironing.

Not suitable for leather, nylon, waterproof fabrics, or heat-sensitive materials unless sewn.

Sewing Instructions (Best for Heavy Use Items)

Perfect for backpacks, jackets, jeans, hats, lunch bags, and children’s clothing.

What You’ll Need

• Needle
• Strong thread (tan, brown, or clear blends well)
• Pins or fabric clips
• Scissors

How to Sew

  1. Place the patch in position and secure with pins or clips.

  2. Thread your needle and knot the end.

  3. Begin stitching from inside the garment so the knot stays hidden.

  4. Sew around the outer edge of the patch using small straight stitches or a neat whip stitch, following the shape carefully.

  5. Keep stitches evenly spaced and gently snug — avoid pulling tight enough to wrinkle the fabric.

  6. Once you’ve stitched all the way around, finish on the inside with a firm double knot and trim excess thread.

This method keeps the patch flat, secure, and ready for everyday wear and washing.
