Spaghetti Bolognese Embroidered Patch Iron Sew On Clothes Italian Food Badge

Size: Approx. 7 cm width × 4.6 cm height

Bring a taste of Italy to your wardrobe with this delightful Spaghetti Bolognese embroidered patch. Featuring a beautifully stitched plate of golden spaghetti topped with rich tomato sauce and fresh green basil leaves, this patch captures the comforting charm of classic Italian cuisine in colourful embroidered detail.

The layered stitching gives the pasta a realistic, textured look, while the deep red sauce and bright green garnish add a lively pop of colour. Measuring approximately 7 cm wide and 4.6 cm tall, it’s the perfect size for adding character without overwhelming your design — ideal for T-shirts, denim jackets, jeans, tote bags, aprons, backpacks, or handmade craft projects.

Whether you’re a food lover, home cook, pasta enthusiast, or simply enjoy playful culinary designs, this patch makes a fun statement piece. It’s great for customising everyday clothing, refreshing tired garments, or creating unique gifts for friends who love Italian food.

The patch is fully embroidered with a clean stitched border and comes with a heat-activated iron-on backing, giving you the option to attach it quickly with an iron or permanently secure it with stitching for extra durability.

🔥 How to Iron On

Best for cotton, denim, canvas, and other heat-safe fabrics.

You’ll need:
• Household iron (steam OFF)
• Thin cloth or tea towel
• Firm, flat surface

  1. Set your iron to medium–high (cotton setting, approx. 150–170°C) and turn steam OFF.

  2. Place your garment on a hard, flat surface and smooth out any wrinkles.

  3. Position the patch adhesive-side down exactly where you want it.

  4. Cover the patch with a thin cloth to protect the embroidery threads.

  5. Press the iron firmly on top for 20–30 seconds — do not slide the iron.

  6. Turn the garment inside out and press behind the patch for another 15–20 seconds to fully activate the adhesive.

  7. Let everything cool completely before moving the fabric.

  8. Check the edges. If any areas lift, repeat pressing for 10–15 seconds.

Care tip: Wait at least 24 hours before washing. Wash inside out on a gentle cycle and air dry when possible. For frequently washed items, sewing is recommended for long-term hold.

🧵 How to Sew On (Recommended for Maximum Durability)

Perfect for jackets, bags, or items that get regular wear.

  1. Place the patch in position and secure with pins or fabric adhesive.

  2. Thread a needle with strong polyester or cotton thread (matching or contrasting).

  3. Start stitching from inside the garment to hide the knot.

  4. Sew small, even stitches around the embroidered edge using a whip stitch or straight stitch.

  5. Continue all the way around the patch for a neat finish.

  6. Tie off securely on the inside and trim excess thread.

Machine sewing can also be used — simply follow the outer border slowly with a straight or narrow zigzag stitch.

This Spaghetti Bolognese patch is a fun way to celebrate Italian food culture while adding personality to your clothes and accessories. A small embroidered detail that delivers big flavour and creative charm.
